December is a time of joy with family and a soon to be New Year. As the close of the year approaches, we often take stock of where we have been in accomplishment and challenges. In the painting “Moments between Waves” I wanted to honor that reflection and space in time as a metaphor of fragile stillness that exists between chaos and calm. The shorebirds, wading in reflective waters, embody the fleeting pauses in life- the spaces where we catch our breath, take stock, and simply exist....
