Art Shipping Information and Policy
At LePrince Fine Art Galleries, we prioritize the secure shipment of artworks to our clients, balancing both protection and environmental sustainability. Our carefully selected materials and methods ensure safe transit. Here is essential information about our shipping practices:
Packaging Methods
For most packages under 130 dimensional inches (as measured by FedEx and UPS), we use stiff polystyrene foam boards, crumpled shipping paper, and/or bubble wrap for optimal protection. Whenever possible, we recycle boxes and packing materials to demonstrate our commitment to the community and the environment.
For larger packages measuring between 130-165 dimensional inches, we use a more robust packing method, consisting of 1/2”-1” thick polystyrene foam boards for enhanced support during transportation.
Oversized works are shipped via air freight or through a trusted art courier to ensure safe delivery.
White Glove Delivery and Installation
We offer white glove delivery and hanging services upon request for an additional fee. This premium service includes:
- Professional Handling: Our team transports the artwork to your specified location with utmost care.
- Unpacking and Inspection: Our specialists unpack and inspect the artwork for any transit-related issues.
- Placement and Installation: We collaborate with you to determine the ideal artwork placement, handling measurements and adjustments.
- Mounting and Hanging: Our professionals securely mount the artwork, considering factors like weight and wall material.
- Cleanup and Packaging Removal: Once the installation is complete, our team clears any packaging materials.
Please note that the availability and pricing of white glove services may vary based on your location and specific needs.
Shipping Partners and Competitive Pricing
We provide worldwide shipping with competitive rates through established partnerships with UPS, FedEx, and select couriers.
Insurance Coverage
A portion of the shipping charge includes comprehensive insurance, covering 100% of the artwork’s value through a third-party insurer. This coverage ensures added protection for your valuable artwork.
Handling Damaged Artwork
If you receive damaged artwork, please contact us before disposing of any packaging. This allows us to assess the situation promptly and resolve any issues.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges at checkout include all expenses associated with the delivery.
