“I am always thinking about how color speaks,” says Dixon. Her paintings are a response to her natural instinct to create, capturing moments of energy and movement. Born in Monroe, Louisiana, Dixon studied at Newcomb College of Tulane University, earning her BA in Studio Art and Painting. She also studied in Florence, Italy, and trained with notable artists Wolf Kahn and Kim English. Now living in Colorado with her family—and her beloved Golden Retriever—Dixon continues to create art that resonates with both collectors and casual viewers alike.
