Betsy’s love of the human figure in paintings has led her to subject matter of the street scene, the café, markets, fishermen, dancers, historical figures, and portraits of contemporary Americans. Betsy’s travels throughout the world inspire her for her paintings of the people, the land, and architecture she captures in her artwork. Her work portrays her interpretation of medieval and renaissance knights of Europe, Byzantium domes, and Tuscany and Southern France landscapes.

  • Betsy began her studies at age 12 at the Telfair Museum of Art in Savannah, Georgia, and studied art throughout her school career.
